About the role
As a Gym and Fitness Coordinator, you will be responsible for inspiring the team and leading the club to success. Your role will see you use your people leadership skills, financial acumen, analytical capability, and management expertise to oversee all aspects of the club's gym and fitness activities. You will be required to showcase your leading interpersonal, communication, and sales skills to drive a successful team to deliver an exceptional member experience.
In this varied and flexible role, classified as Senior General Activities Officer under our Enterprise Agreement, you will be coaching and guiding young people.
In this role you will:
Manage sales budgets and analyse results to determine proactive strategies for improvement
Lead the delivery of exceptional member experiences and the successful resolution of member concerns
Coordinate day-to-day gym operations, including assisting reception desk services and administration
Drive membership lead generation, sales and retention activities
Deliver outstanding customer service and build relationships with members
Ensure the facility is clean, safe, and running efficiently
Support and assist personal trainers in delivering top-quality services
Promoting the club within the local community through outreach and marketing efforts

About You
Are you self-motivated with a passion for health and fitness and have flexibility to work early mornings, afternoons, evenings and weekends. As well as;
Certificate IV in Fitness (minimum)
Current CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
Strong sales acumen with a demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets
Excellent leadership and team management skills
Proficiency in CRM and gym management software, along with standard office tools
Knowledge of fitness industry trends and customer preferences
Outgoing and friendly personality
A positive role model, collaborative and team orientated
