Associate Engineer – Frontend
Digital Biz Solutions Pty Ltd are looking for an Associate Engineer – Frontend to work on major client projects in Australia. The position is full time and open to candidates based in Melbourne, Adelaide, Brisbane, Canberra, Perth.
Job Description
- Responsible for driving & maintaining developing software applications & systems
- Ensure developed projects successfully meet customer need & requirement with quality & security target
- Doing technical evaluation of Product’s feature requirement.
Responsibilities
- Reviewing and analysing software and system specifications
- Developing and creating test plans and effective strategies
- Analysing the system and ensuring the test strategies align with the requirements of the development process
- Identifying bugs and creating reports to highlight the status of the software application
- Running debug programmes to fix the defects
- Updating all bug databases with accurate information
- Providing assistance with troubleshooting issues
- Collaborating with QA engineers and software developers
- Researching current testing processes and technologies
- Identifying and isolating bugs and errors in codes
- Working in cross-functional teams to ensure quality during a software development project
- Setting quality standards
- Driving efficiency and innovation in the testing procedures
- Documenting the testing procedure, testing progress and results
- Interacting with clients to understand product or software requirements
- Providing feedback and assistance with software designing.
- Designing, installing and testing a website's user interface elements
- Focusing on a website's functionality and the look of a website
- Developing ideas for a new website or coming up with ways to renovate an existing website.
- Understanding the various information a website will have and creating a plan for structuring the website and how best to present the information on the website or web application.
- Selecting and creating a website's graphic elements
- Creating prototypes for a website to presenting to both employers and clients
- Coding a site and testing it to ensure its functionality
- Monitoring websites to ensure they continue to run properly and make modifications as needed
- Ensuring that web design is smartphone capable
- Streamlining and optimizing for loading speed
Required Candidate profile
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
- 2+ years of relevant work experience required for this role
- Strong exp. in implementing web-based applications using .Net tech stack (.NET Core, ASP.NET MVC, ASP.NET Web API)
Salary: AUD$80,000 and above (excluding Super).
