Job Description
The Department of Transport seeks a Planner to support the planning and delivery of integrated transport solutions in regional Victoria.
About the Role
This role will work collaboratively across the transport portfolio, government agencies, Regional Partnerships and local government to advance integrated land use and transport planning in regional Victoria.
* Engage with regional industries, stakeholders and communities to ensure successful integrated transport planning;
* Prepare briefings, reports, discussion papers and presentations on transport strategy and network planning;
* Integrate transport planning with land use planning and government policy;
* Sources regional transport projects, events and programs;
* Monitor emerging transport trends and advise on transport plan updates;
* Liaise with Aboriginal communities to deliver the Department's Inclusion Strategy.
Required Skills and Qualifications
