Job Overview
This role offers hands-on site coordination and project delivery experience in high-risk construction environments.
Your Key Responsibilities
* Develop, maintain and implement project/site specific Quality, Safety and Environmental (QSE) Management Plans to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
* Evaluate project documentation to prepare Schedule of Scope Deliverables supporting Subcontractor Inspection Test Plan (ITP) process and records.
* Coordinate onsite inspections and testing in accordance with ITPs.
* Organize onsite personnel and Site Inductions per QSE Management Plans.
* IDentify key safety risks and suggest site improvements.
* Maintain project/site specific registers, forms, check-lists, and ITPs.
* Conduct regular audits of QSE management controls and implement recommended actions.
* Manage project/site specific defects to minimize issues upon project completion.
* Attend onsite meetings to reinforce QSE management controls.
* Maintain effective communication between Project Engineers, Project Managers, and Clients.
* Coordinate project work-in-progress reports, performance analysis, and contract administration.
* Engage and manage project/site specific subcontractors, including performance management.
About You
* Demonstrate high-level written and verbal communication skills.
* Hold a Bachelor of Engineering or construction-related tertiary qualifications.
* Demonstrate working knowledge of relevant design and engineering software.
* Be proficient in MS Office – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project.
* Possess a current and valid Driver's Licence – C Class.
* Show demonstrated problem-solving capability.
* Desirable attributes include willingness to lead by example, ability to meet deadlines, strong change management skills, commercial judgement, decision making, and strategic thinking.
