Site Engineer – Civil Construction

JMT Civil is seeking a motivated and detail‑oriented Site Engineer to assist in the planning, coordination and delivery of civil construction works. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic site environment and is looking to grow their technical and project management skills.
About the Role
As a Site Engineer, you will work closely with the Project Manager and Site Manager to support day‑to‑day project delivery. You'll be involved in quality assurance, drafting ITPs, managing documentation, monitoring progress and ensuring works are completed safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
* Support the Project Manager with planning, scheduling and reporting.
* Conduct site inspections and ensure compliance with specifications and standards.
* Prepare and maintain QA documentation, ITPs, checklists and site records.
* Measure and track quantities, productivity and progress.
* Assist with procurement, subcontractor coordination and technical queries.
* Review drawings, plans and designs to support construction activities.
* Contribute to safety management and ensure onsite compliance.
* Provide engineering support to supervisory and field teams.
About You
* Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management (essential).
* 1–3 years experience in a Site Engineer or Junior Engineer role (civil construction preferred).
* Strong understanding of earthworks, utilities, drainage or demolition (advantageous).
* Excellent communication and organisational skills.
* Ability to read and interpret drawings.
* Strong attention to detail and a proactive mindset.
* Competent with project systems, QA processes and reporting.
* White Card (essential).
