Your new role
Your responsibilities will include:
Assessing strategic land use planning applications such as scheme amendments, structure plans, and subdivisions.
Applying relevant legislation and planning frameworks to assist residents and stakeholders.
Reviewing and developing land use planning policies to guide future growth.
Contributing to strategic council projects, including project management, stakeholder engagement, and urban design.
What you'll need to succeed
Proven experience in strategic planning within a local government or similar environment.
Strong communication skills and ability to engage with diverse stakeholders.
A collaborative approach and commitment to excellent customer service.
Passion for planning that balances urban and rural environments.
