Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as an NDIS Supported Employee Support Worker. As part of a small team, you will work closely with participants on-the-job to develop and maintain their employment and employment skills.
You will provide advocacy and support for supported employees during their employment lifecycle, assist participants to implement their NDIS goals through personal development in the workplace, and complete daily case notes and online records to meet contractual requirements.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* A minimum of a Certificate III in Disability Support or Individual Support or a related field
* Previous experience in working with people with a disability or mental health condition
* An ability to work with a compliance framework
* A track record in creating an inclusive environment which empowers people
* A working understanding of the Disability Services Act 2006 or the National Standards for Mental Health Services
