We are seeking an experienced Construction Foreman to join our team on a residential unit development located in Surfers Paradise.
This is a hands-on leadership role, ideal for someone who takes pride in quality workmanship, safety, and keeping projects running smoothly on site.
Key Responsibilities:
* Supervise and coordinate all on-site construction activities
* Manage trades, subcontractors, and labour on a daily basis
* Ensure works are completed to program, quality standards, and safety requirements
* Liaise with Project Managers, Site Managers, and consultants
* Monitor site safety and enforce WHS compliance
* Read and interpret plans, specifications, and construction documentation
* Identify and resolve on-site issues efficiently
Essential Requirements:
* Minimum 5 years' experience as a Foreman in residential unit construction
* Strong knowledge of construction processes and sequencing
* Proven ability to manage trades and subcontractors
* Excellent communication and leadership skills
* Strong focus on safety, quality, and productivity
* Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
* White Card (mandatory)
* Current driver's licence
Desirable:
* Experience on mid-rise or high-rise residential projects
* Trade background
* First Aid certification
