**About the Role**:
Our team is growing and we are seeking three new Principal Project Officers to help us develop and deliver workforce initiatives focused on:
- addressing current critical teacher workforce needs, particularly in rural, remote and regional communities;
- attracting, supporting and retaining a diverse job-ready teaching workforce to meet emerging and future needs of Queensland state schools; and
- embedding equitable, innovative and best-fit workforce initiatives for the Queensland state schooling sector.
These roles will work in collaboration with cross functional teams to lead, develop and deliver a suite of projects and initiatives focused on:
- cultivating and nurturing differentiated pathways into teaching to support a sustainable and longer-term supply of teachers, aligned to workforce needs.
- increasing the number of experienced state school teachers and leaders in the locations where they are most needed.
- supporting and retaining state school teachers and leaders, especially in priority geographic areas and high demand teaching areas.
**We're looking for individuals who are**:
- Project Leaders: experienced in managing project development and implementation across a portfolio of complex projects, including preparing project plans, managing resources and meeting reporting requirements, to ensure successful project outcomes are achieved on time, on budget and to high standards.
- Collaborators: can work with cross-functional colleagues to plan, prepare and implement fit for purpose strategies, initiatives and processes to achieve optimal results.
- Outcomes focused: has a passion for bringing lots of ideas together into clear plans, keeps everything on track for delivering against these plans and can measure the success of our initiatives.
- Highly organised: able to prioritise their workload, manage competing priorities and be transparent with their colleagues about the status of their work.
- Effective Communicator: exceptional written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills and able to adapt your communication style for different audiences.
- Passionate: it's clear to everyone around you that you love what you do and take great delight in delivering contemporary talent acquisition solutions for your organisation.
