Open Doors Youth Service (ODYS) supports LGBTQIA+ Sistergirl and Brotherboy young people aged 12 to 24 and is the only service of its kind in Queensland. ODYS is dedicated to:

THE OPPORTUNITY
We're expanding our presence in Logan and seeking a Logan Hub Coordinator to lead and deliver high-quality, trauma-informed, and culturally safe services—whilst holding a reduced caseload as a support worker or counsellor.
This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for day-to-day service delivery, team coordination, clinical guidance, and community engagement across Logan and surrounding areas.
You'll shape and lead a small, passionate team while working directly with young people, ensuring they feel seen, heard, and supported.

ABOUT THE ROLE:
* Lead daily service operations at our Logan Hub, ensuring alignment with ODYS policies and clinical governance best practice.
* Hold a reduced caseload, providing case management and/or counselling to LGBTQIASB+ young people.
* Support your team with decision-making, and guidance that promotes high performance and a strong sense of belonging.
* Coordinate psychosocial group programs, parent/carer supports, and outreach events.
* Drive partnerships with schools, community organisations, and health services to create referral pathways and shared impact.
* Lead community engagement, including days of significance and Pride events in Logan.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
You're the right fit if you:
* Are deeply passionate about supporting LGBTQIA+ Sistergirl and Brotherboy young people and creating safer communities.
* Bring both lived experience as a member of the LGBTQIASB+ community and professional expertise in health, social work, youth work, or human services (minimum bachelor's degree required).
* Have experience in clinical decision-making, trauma-informed practice, and team coordination.
* Love building partnerships schools, community orgs and community.
* Thrive in dynamic, grassroots environments where no two days look the same.
* Hold a current driver's licence, Blue Card & National Police Check (or can obtain one), and COVID-19 vaccination.
