**About the Role**

As an Advisor within our Financial Crime Compliance team, you will support the Senior Partner to set BOQ Group-wide requirements in relation to third party and employee due diligence methodologies. Reporting directly to the Senior Partner - Operations, 3rd Party & Employee, you'll provide support on Line 2 risk oversight and review to ensure that requirements are effectively implemented across our Group Operations division.
Through engaging with other parts of our Compliance function, you will also help ensure that Compliance initiatives, such as frameworks, policies, and processes, are effectively designed, communicated, implemented, and embedded within the business.
**About you**
Your success in this role will rely on your understanding of financial crime compliance obligations and industry practice, including understanding of the AML/CTF Act and AUSTRAC guidance.
You will also have some experience working in and supporting financial services and banking businesses, ideally including exposure to businesses where 3rd parties are used.
You will also have the following skills and capabilities:
- Strong stakeholder management and relationship building skills.
- The ability to have constructive, open, and transparent conversations and relationships with stakeholders.
- Some knowledge of risk and control methodologies, control design, and testing of effectiveness.
- Skills to pinpoint areas requiring further analysis and attention, ensuring a pragmatic and robust approach to compliance overall.
