Service Engineer – New Markets (Parental leave substitute, fixed‐term 7 months, possibility of permanent role)
This role involves ensuring customer and partner satisfaction by providing technical support for EV charging equipment in Australia. Responsibilities include remote and on‐site duties and occasional participation in global cases.
Role Specifics
* Ensure customer satisfaction with EV charging equipment by offering remote and on‐site support services in Australia, and contributing to global cases when applicable.
* Provide technical support using tools such as Atlassian Jira and Microsoft Teams.
* Follow‐up and maintain partner network technical competence, and join partner onboarding when applicable.
* Conduct remote and on‐site training to maintain partner network technical competence.
* Gather customer feedback and collaborate closely with internal teams to drive continuous improvements.
* Share best practices, document key learnings, and contribute to service development.
* Work in a hybrid mode based in Melbourne, Australia with an expected on‐site presence of approximately two days per week; occasional travel and customer visits required.
Qualifications & Desired Skills
* Relevant educational background in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
* Strong technical expertise and troubleshooting skills for electrical systems, network connectivity, and software applications.
* Understanding of service processes and familiarity with best practices and SLA requirements.
* Proficiency in support tools such as Jira, Teams, or similar platforms.
* Excellent communication skills for interacting with external and internal stakeholders and delivering remote and on‐site training.
* Ability to work independently, manage priorities in a fast‐paced environment, and maintain a self‐driven, accountable approach.
* Customer‐centric mindset and willingness to learn and adapt to recent tools, technologies, and industry trends.
* Positive English language skills, as company language is English.
