ABOUT THE ROLE

The Remarketing Controller, Operations is a pivotal role within our Remarketing function. You will oversee the End‑of‑Lease (EOL) inspection process in line with the Fair Wear and Tear (FW&T) guidelines, while managing all aspects of transport logistics, including bookings, tracking, invoicing and payments.

You will play a key role in ensuring our remarketing operations are timely, accurate, cost‑effective, profitable and aligned to customer experience expectations. The role also supports the effective management of all remarketing service activities, working closely with internal teams and partners to maintain high standards and meet departmental KPIs.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience as a Service Advisor, Insurance Assessor, Mechanical Technician, or in a panel shop quoting / repair; Heavy commercial vehicle is highly desirable but not essential.

Essential

* Schedule, coordinate and track all vehicle returns to ensure assets are transported/returned to disposal yards with minimal delay.
* Book, track and process invoicing of all transport movements for both in‑life and end‑of‑lease assets.
* Manage the EOL vehicle inspection process whilst ensuring validated FW&T charges are accurately applied in line with procedures.
* Address and resolve all inquiries or disputes promptly and professionally to maintain service integrity and customer satisfaction.
* Coordinate and manage vehicle reconditioning and repairs, ensuring timely delivery and clear understanding of cost‑benefit impacts.
* Facilitate and track all administrative deliverables across the remarketing area, including Driver Purchase, Next Lease, Storage and related services.
* Conduct thorough auditing and payment of all invoices, ensuring costs align with contractual terms and supplier agreements.

Other

* Collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams including Sales, Account Management, FPS, Terminations, Finance, Risk and Accident Management.
* Build and maintain strong internal networks to support cross‑functional initiatives.
* Share and implement best practices with department counterparts.
* Work closely with external partners to drive continuous process improvement.
* Represent Custom Fleet with professionalism, integrity and accountability in all interactions.

Education & Experience

Essential

* 3+ years' experience in Fleet Management, Leasing, Finance or the Motor Industry.
* Motor vehicle experience, including trade qualifications.
* Technical experience as a vehicle technician, panel repair specialist, or service centre professional.

Other

* Experience working with Heavy Commercial, Plant & Equipment, or related asset classes.
* Experience in wholesale, auction, or remarketing of motor vehicles.
