About the Role
Due to exciting growth in our Supported Employment programs, Connecting2Ability is seeking a dedicated Senior Support Worker to join our Seaford based Work Connections team.
In this critical role, you'll provide hands‑on leadership and support to our Supported Employees—empowering them to build skills, achieve their goals, and actively contribute to their communities. You'll work closely with our Business Manager to coordinate day‑to‑day operations, mentor Disability Support Workers, and ensure the delivery of high‑quality, person‑centred support across a mix of on‑the‑ground and administrative responsibilities.
Your Key Responsibilities
* Lead and support a team of Disability Support Workers and Supported Employees
* Upskill team members and assist with inductions and mentoring
* Coordinate work crews to meet commercial contract requirements and OH&S standards
* Manage rostering, timesheets, stock control, and reporting tasks
* Spend 2–3 days per week on‑site providing direct support and supervision
* Drive continuous improvement, compliance, and meaningful outcomes
What You'll Bring
* Experience supervising and developing staff (in a disability, employment, or community services setting is a bonus)
* A proactive, problem‑solving mindset and strong organisational skills
* An understanding of NDIS compliance and person‑centred approaches
* Relevant trade or hands‑on experience (e.g. landscaping, maintenance, or contract gardening) highly valued
* Ability to drive and reverse a manual or automatic transit truck with a trailer (or willing to learn)
* A good sense of humour and a genuine passion for community inclusion
Desirable :
* Certificate IV in Disability, Community Services or related field
