Electrical (Solar & Battery) Engineering Intern
Working within an Adelaide-based engineering consultancy delivering end-to-end solutions across renewable energy, electrical, and energy storage projects.
Key Responsibilities
* Design and deliver C&I solar PV and battery (BESS) systems
* Perform system sizing, energy modelling, and feasibility analysis
* Develop SLDs, layouts, and technical documentation
* Support projects across full lifecycle (design commissioning handover)
* Ensure compliance with Australian Standards and grid requirements
* Collaborate with clients, contractors, and project stakeholders
Skills & Expertise
* Solar PV system design and BESS integration
* Energy modelling tools (e.g., PVSyst, Helioscope, Homer)
* Strong understanding of electrical engineering & power systems
* Knowledge of AS/NZS standards and grid connection processes
* Technical documentation and drawing preparation
* Project coordination and stakeholder communication
