What We Offer
Full-time Junior and or Senior Nursing positions with a competitive salary. You will work with a diverse and interesting caseload in a renovated and well-equipped facility. Our team collaborates regularly through daily clinic rounds and monthly meetings, ensuring strong communication and support. Our incredible Head Nurse is committed to guiding and supporting you, fostering a positive and professional work environment where you can thrive. We offer a 38-hour, four-day work week with a fixed RDO day off and only one or two-weekend shifts per month, paid at full penalty rates. There are no split shifts, and the latest finish is 6:30 pm. Our practice provides career growth opportunities and above-award wages, recognising veterinary nurses' hard work and expertise.
Who We're Looking For
We are currently seeking both Junior and or highly skilled and experienced Veterinary Nurses with or currently studying a Certificate IV qualification or equivalent. The right nurse to join our team should be confident working independently, have strong attention to detail, (Senior Nurses) and be capable of delivering advanced nursing care with minimal supervision.
Desirable but not essential skills for Junior Nurse applicants include animal handling, anaesthesia knowledge, and experience with X-rays, dental procedures, catheterisation, and pathology sample collection. You should be comfortable providing independent patient care, supervising junior nurses and liaising with clients. Excellent communication skills and a commitment to client education are essential.
