About the Role As a Respiratory Coordinator, you will play a vital part in the Eyre & Far North Local Health Network Community Nursing Team. This position requires providing high-level support to develop and implement effective respiratory services with the aim of reducing ED presentations and hospital admissions for clients with respiratory conditions. The Clinical Nurse, Respiratory Coordinator works closely with the multidisciplinary team to identify opportunities for improvement and optimize care pathways for patients with respiratory illnesses. You will be responsible for developing strategies to reduce length of stay for patients with respiratory conditions in EFNLHN hospitals, facilitating timely transfers of respiratory patients from metropolitan health services, and delivering the SA Health Home Oxygen Program. You must be a registered or eligible nurse by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia, hold a current practicing certificate, and have at least 3 years full-time equivalent post-registration experience.
