About the Role As the Coordinator Development Engineering, you will be the key point of leadership and expertise for development engineering services. You will provide specialist advice, guide complex decision-making, and ensure timely, innovative, and compliant engineering outcomes. Your responsibilities will include: Leading the delivery of development engineering services and infrastructure works related to development. Providing strategic and technical advice on infrastructure planning and development matters. Coordinating development assessments, subdivision approvals, and associated engineering conditions. Managing Road Management Act permits, approvals, and compliance processes. Collaborating with internal teams, developers, consultants, and external authorities to achieve best-practice outcomes. Driving continuous improvement in processes, service delivery, and innovation. You will bring: Extensive experience in development engineering, infrastructure projects, or a similar local government environment. Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills. A sound understanding of relevant legislation, standards, and approval processes. The ability to balance technical excellence with customer-focused service delivery. The Benefits This is a permanent full time position, with a starting salary of $101,648 p.a. excluding superannuation.
