2026 WCHN Advanced Trainee / Fellow Paediatric Medicine Job no: 902544Work type: Full timeLocation: Adelaide CBDCategories: MedicalWomen's and Children's Health Network, Advanced Trainee / Fellow Paediatric Medicine,North Adelaide 5006Salary - Total Indicative Remuneration - Classification - MDP2 - Medical Practitioner - $105,155 to $171,579 p.a(includes award salary, superannuation and any other monetary benefits)Employment Full time - Term Contract (temporary up to February 2029) As per the SMOEA 2022, the total term of employment with SA Health will be 3 years. Rotations following the initial 12-months allocation as WCHN Fellow Paediatric Medicine will be determined in line with your training and SA Health's requirements. This may include transfer to other SA Health locations to perform work appropriate to classification, skills and capabilities. The Opportunity An exciting opportunity exists for a suitably qualified Medical Practitioner to join us in Paediatric Medicine as the Advanced Trainee / Fellow. The Fellow in Paediatric Medicine contributes to the provision of clinical services to WCHN inpatients and outpatients, including on call, under consultant supervision. The duties of the position are not fixed however the position is intended to provide an opportunity to prepare for consultant practice and allow time for completion of advanced training objectives, including a research project as approved by your supervisor/s. The Fellow will provide leadership and mentoring to Trainees across all levels of training, with a particular focus on pre-written and clinical exam trainees and aiding in the coordination of the FRACP clinical exam in South Australia. The Fellow will have the opportunity to participate in, and assist to facilitate, the Department's teaching and continuing education program, and contribute to the quality management activities within the Department.
