Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, we are seeking an office-based Branch Coordinator to join our National team based in South Townsville, QLD.
As the Branch Coordinator / Yard Hand you will be primarily focused on overseeing the daily coordination of the Townsville branch, which will involve working collaboratively with the Scully RSV team, handling inquiries for truck and trailer rental opportunities, managing rental agreements, and ensuring exceptional customer service. Additionally, you will also contribute to fostering an inclusive work environment and share responsibility for the safe and successful operation of Scully RSV.
The Roles Main Tasks Are:
As the Branch Coordinator / Yard Hand, you will play a crucial role in our organisation. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
* Greet rental clients upon their arrival at the branch.
* Answer incoming phone calls promptly and courteously.
* Respond to all leads and opportunities in the CRM,
* Ensure reservations are recorded and invoiced in a timely manner.
* Collaborate with the Service Coordinator to ensure vehicle availability.
* Ensure all assets have signed rental terms and conditions in place.
* Diligently complete and catalogue data from hire and de-hire condition reports.
* Ensure the site is presented and maintained in a professional manner.
* Wash and detail trucks ready for hire.
* Truck relocations to service providers and customers.
* Efficiently coordinate the traffic management plan, asset tagging, and fleet transfers between sites, service providers, and customers.
* Provide after-hours support as required, ensuring the branch's continuous operation and service excellence
Who We Are Looking For:
To excel in this role you should bring:
* 5 years’ experience in a customer service role in a Heavy machinery or industrial capital equipment environment,
* HR Licence Required (HC Licence would be advantageous) or willing to complete training and assessment, and
* A positive, energetic, resilient, and enthusiastic approach to the role, with a customer first mentality.
* Demonstrate proactive teamwork with strong communication skills (oral & written) and the ability to establish effective working relationships with a variety of people at different levels both internally and externally.
* Excellent organisational and time management skills; ability to navigate conflicting demands and priorities; and meet deadlines.
