We are seeking a dedicated and passionate educator to join our team as a Specialist Teacher for Hearing Impaired Students. This is an exceptional opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of students with hearing loss across various educational settings.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop, deliver and evaluate differentiated learning plans for hearing-impaired students in varied educational settings.
* Engage in ongoing professional development to stay up-to-date on hearing technology, Key Word Sign, Auslan and augmentative communication systems.
* Foster positive relationships and collaborate with students, staff, parents, and external agencies to meet the needs of students with hearing loss.
Requirements:
* Approval to teach Hearing Impairment, primary and/or secondary. Auslan desirable.
* Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with students, staff, and parents.
