About the Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced and driven geologist to lead exploration programs at a gold mine.
Key Responsibilities
* Design and execute underground drilling programs
* Deliver high-quality geological interpretations, wireframes, and drill targeting
* Ensure data quality and accuracy for all exploration activities
* Contribute geological inputs for resource estimates in line with industry guidelines
* Maintain tenure compliance and relationships with stakeholders
* Participate in technical reviews, targeting workshops, and planning meetings
* Mentor geologists and contribute to continuous improvement
Your Background
* Bachelor's degree in Geology
* 5+ years' experience in exploration and underground mine geology
* Strong gold geology background
* Experience in delivering UG drilling programs
* Solid understanding of structural geology, alteration, and gold mineralization models
* Proficiency in geological modeling software (Leapfrog or Micromine)
* Experience with GIS (MapInfo/QGIS)
* Strong reporting, planning, and problem-solving skills
