The Role
As our new Civil Engineer, you'll be instrumental in extending the calibre of CTS's project delivery. This role blends technical engineering leadership with practical, on-the-ground construction insight, supporting our multi-trade operations.
Key Responsibilities
● Collaborate in planning, designing, and executing civil engineering components of projects across sectors (residential, commercial, insurance-related, government).
● Prepare and review site investigations, feasibility studies, detailed designs, and engineering documentation aligned with Australian standards.
● Assist with project scheduling, budgeting, resource allocation, and procurement in liaison with CTS management.
● Champion health & safety compliance on site—ensuring WH&S policies are understood, followed, and continuously improved.
● Engage with stakeholders—clients, subcontractors, regulatory bodies—to drive client satisfaction, upholding CTS's reputation for reliability and excellence.
● Contribute to CTS's environmental performance by implementing sustainable practices and minimizing site impacts.
What We're Looking For
● Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (or equivalent), with at least 2 years of relevant experience, preferably in multi-trade or civil construction environments.
● Proficiency with design software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar.
● Solid understanding of Australian engineering standards, regulations, and WH&S obligations.
● Strong problem-solving, project coordination, and communication skills.
● Positive attitude toward hands-on collaboration and cross-trade coordination.
● Membership with Engineers Australia (or willingness to obtain) is highly desirable.

Salary & Benefits (Indicative)
● Competitive annual salary range: AUD 85,000 – AUD 100,000 + superannuation, commensurate with experience.
