Personal Carer – Permanent, Part Time
Location: Star of the Sea, Elders Village – Thursday Island, Queensland
Remuneration: $36.32 per hour (plus super), salary packaging, allowances & travel reimbursement.
About the Role
Provide high‐quality care to residents in a residential home, supporting their independence and quality of life through daily living assistance, personalized care plans, and community activities.
Responsibilities
* Assist with daily living tasks: showering, personal hygiene, meal times, mobility support.
* Deliver care in accordance with individualized Care Plans.
* Support residents with community‐based recreational and social activities.
* Use technology (smartphones, tablets, laptops) to facilitate care and documentation.
* Meet relevant probity and NDIS Worker Screening requirements.
Role Requirements
* Certificate III in Aged Care, Individual Support or an equivalent qualification.
* Experience using technology in a care setting.
* Confidence to satisfy probity checks and NDIS Worker Screening clearance or willingness to obtain.
