Your Key Responsibilities:
* Think strategically and anticipate future trends accurately.
* Lead and develop a high-performing finance team, fostering capability, collaboration, and excellence.
* Drive the execution and continuous improvement of a strong financial governance framework, ensuring full compliance with audit, risk, and regulatory requirements.
* Ensure accurate and timely preparation of all financial reports, management accounts, and statutory filings.
* Oversee end-to-end financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes, providing insights that support strategic, data-driven decision-making.
* Continuously improve financial systems, reporting structures, and processes to boost accuracy, efficiency, and scalability as the business grows.
* Deliver clear financial analysis and actionable recommendations that drive profitability and elevate business performance.
* Manage financial risk, tax compliance, and regulatory obligations, ensuring the organisation remains resilient and protected.
* Oversee accurate and timely management of rental and lease payment obligations.
Your Qualifications & Skills:
* Broad grounding in finance and accounting, complemented with advanced stakeholder management and business partnering skills.
* Proven management experience, attention to detail and accuracy, great communication and relationship-building skills.
* Hands-on, dynamic, and willing to get to know the whole business.
Requirements:
* CA qualification, experience in a Big 4 Accounting Firm
* 6-8 years of finance management experience, preferably in retail/property/construction
* Experience driving transformation in Finance (including automation and efficiencies) while maintaining a customer focus, and improvement in the control environment.
* Experience in complex accounting environments.
* Experience working in a company with a high volume of transactions preferred.
