About the Role
Care Attendants are part of our front-line team that provide care services to our residents.
The role has many competing needs and requires the ultimate all-rounder who can maintain focus regardless of the challenges thrown at them.
You will enjoy building strong relationships with residents, their families and your colleagues to ensure exceptional service levels.
Duties Include
* Maintain a clean environment for residents including common areas and amenities
* Manage laundry for residents
* Assist with daily meal preparation, service and delivery
* Food service at resident events and functions
* Emergency on-call service
* Medication support
* Assist residents with daily living activities
* Provide first aid
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Demonstrated experience providing exceptional customer service
* Flexible and have availability to work weekdays, weekends, evenings and sleepovers
* Satisfactory National Police Clearance
* Certificate III in Personal Support (Aged Care) or equivalent
* Current first aid certificate with CPR
Benefits
Permanent part-time position - a minimum of 12 hours per week. Roster 7:00am - 9:00pm - 7 days a week with a passive sleepover.
Conditions of Employment
It is a condition of employment that you receive the seasonal flu vaccination each year unless a medical exemption is provided.
