About Us
Ghostfire Gaming is an independent tabletop RPG publisher behind acclaimed settings including Grim Hollow, Drakkenheim, and the Aetherial Expanse. We design rich worlds, premium books, and a growing catalogue of digital products played by tens of thousands of GMs and players around the world.
We're hiring a Digital Product Manager to take ownership of two product pathways: our Virtual Tabletop (VTT) modules, primarily on Roll20 and Foundry, and our 3D printable (STL) miniatures library on MyMiniFactory. This is a focused, execution-driven role focused on getting great products to market on a reliable cadence.
About the role
You'll be accountable for the end-to-end management and delivery of our VTT and STL products. You'll manage our external VTT development partner, coordinate STL uploads and commissions, and work closely with our Sales & Marketing Manager to ensure every release is properly supported.
Key responsibilities
** VTT product delivery
* Manage external development partners on a day-to-day basis: brief work, run sprints, accept or reject deliverables
* Establish and maintain a stable sprint cadence (bi-weekly initially, moving to weekly)
* Run QA on VTT module deliveries against a defined checklist before release
* Coordinate releases on Roll20 and Foundry, including platform-side configuration and listing setup
** STL product delivery
* Upload our existing STL library to MyMiniFactory and bring the store to a clean operating state
* Coordinate priority sculpt commissions with external partners
* Maintain MyMiniFactory store listings, metadata, and presentation quality
* Manage release cadence and ensure files meet quality standards before going live
** Reporting & cross-functional coordination
* Provide monthly P&L reporting on VTT platforms and MyMiniFactory to the Financial Controller
* Feed launch dates, asset needs, and product information to the Sales & Marketing Manager at least 4 weeks ahead of release
* Liaise with the Head of Production on asset and content sourcing for VTT modules and STL commissions
* Configure digital product pages, download delivery, and VTT/STL listings on the company website as required
* Attend a weekly 1:1 with your manager covering product status, blockers, and priorities
About you
You're a delivery-focused product or operations professional who'd rather ship three excellent things than start ten. You're comfortable owning external vendor relationships, running quality control, and keeping multiple stakeholders informed without needing constant direction.
Essential
* Demonstrable experience managing digital products through to release, ideally including external development partners or agencies
* Strong working knowledge of sprint-based delivery, briefing, QA, and release coordination
* Experience publishing to or operating on at least one digital marketplace (e.g. MyMiniFactory, DriveThruRPG, Roll20, Foundry, Steam, app stores)
* Excellent written communication and the ability to hand work off cleanly to marketing and operations colleagues
* Self-directed working style suited to a part-time, mostly-remote role
Highly desirable
* Hands-on familiarity with Roll20 and/or Foundry VTT as a GM, player, or developer
* Working knowledge of the 3D printable miniatures ecosystem (MyMiniFactory, Patreon-style sculpt subscriptions, STL formats and pre-supports)
* Tabletop RPG industry experience or genuine personal investment in the hobby
* Experience configuring digital products on Shopify, WooCommerce, or similar e-commerce platforms
* Basic financial literacy; comfortable producing simple monthly P&L reports
What we offer
* Salary: AUD $36,000 per annum (0.6 FTE, equivalent to $60,000 full-time), plus 12% superannuation
* Schedule: Three days per week, with flexibility on which days
* Three-month review: Formal review against clear success measures, with scope, FTE, and remuneration on the table for expansion based on demonstrated outcomes
* A meaningful product: Work on settings and miniatures that real GMs and players love and use every week
How to apply
Apply through Seek with a CV and a short cover note (no more than one page) telling us:
* A digital product you've shipped that you're proud of, and what your role was in getting it out the door
* Your experience (if any) with VTT platforms or the 3D printable miniatures ecosystem
* Why a focused, part-time role appeals to you at this stage of your career
Applications close the week on May 11th. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to a first interview with the CEO.
