We are seeking an Electrical Systems Specialist to play a key role in maintaining the reliability, safety, and efficiency of electrical systems across our site.
About the Role
* This position involves maintaining and servicing equipment within the Coal Handling & Preparation Plant (CHPP), general site infrastructure, ancillary systems, and a CAT electric rope shovel.
* The role operates on an even-time rotating day/night roster (7 on, 7 off).
Maintaining Electrical Systems
* Responsibilities include regular inspections, preventive maintenance, and fault finding of electrical systems across the CHPP, site infrastructure, and ancillary equipment.
* Suitable candidates will have proven experience in maintenance and fault-finding within mining, mineral processing, or heavy industrial environments.
Requirements
* A current Queensland Electrical Licence Class Fitter Mechanic or equivalent approved (non-Queensland issued) Australian and New Zealand issued electrical licence is required.
* A solid technical background across electrical systems, SCADA, PLCs, and advanced fault-diagnosis techniques, supported by sound instrumentation knowledge.
