Primary Objective: You will provide regional leadership and coordination for a comprehensive prevention and early intervention effort across Central Australia, with a focus on primordial and primary prevention. This involves partnering and coordinating with government agencies, the Aboriginal Community Controlled sector, local government and NGOs to reduce the impact of chronic preventable conditions - including diabetes, cardiovascular disease and cancer - on the population and the health system. Selection will be made at the SP1 or SAO1 level depending on the qualifications of the successful applicant.
Responsibilities
* Provide regional leadership and coordination for prevention and early intervention efforts across Central Australia with a focus on primordial and primary prevention.
* Partner and coordinate with government agencies, the Aboriginal Community Controlled sector, local government and NGOs to reduce the impact of chronic preventable conditions on the population and health system.
Qualifications
* Experience Level: Senior Administrative Officer 1
* Selection will be made at the SP1 or SAO1 level depending on the qualifications of the successful applicant.
Remuneration
Remuneration Package: $155,793 - $173,832 (including salary $132,408 - $147,919)
