Our valued client, AussiePhil Engineering Welding & Fabrication, is a trusted provider of welding and fabrication solutions based in Perth, Western Australia. They deliver professional services that meet the needs of industrial, commercial, and construction projects.
Salary
Salary will be offered between $76,000 – $90,000 per annum, commensurate with skills and experience.
Responsibilities
* Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
* Mark out, cut, shape and assemble metal components using hand tools and machinery.
* Perform Metal Inert Gas (MIG), Tungsten Inert Gas (TIG), and Stick welding to a high standard.
* Fabricate structural steel and custom metal components.
* Repair and maintain metal structures and equipment.
* Operate workshop machinery, including grinders, drills, presses, and cutting tools.
* Conduct quality checks to ensure compliance with project specifications.
* Follow workplace health and safety procedures at all times.
* Work collaboratively within a team environment to meet project deadlines.
Qualifications & Experience
* Must have a relevant qualification equivalent to a Certificate III in Engineering (Fabrication Trade) or related field.
* Minimum of two to three (2–3) years of relevant industry experience.
* Demonstrated experience in structural steel and general fabrication.
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
