Job Description:
The Team Leader will play a key role in leading a small team across the Upper Hunter and Manning regions, aiming to increase access and engagement with care and support services. This involves empowering individuals to connect with both formal and practical supports to aid recovery.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and manage a team in a complex environment
* Develop and maintain effective working relationships with team members and stakeholders
* Travel between designated regions as required
* Maintain professional boundaries while engaging in person-centred work
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* Tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience in human services, psychology, social work, nursing, or social sciences
* A minimum of 3 years' experience in mental health, case management programs, or similar
* Experience in leading, supervising, and supporting teams in a triage, assessment, and referral environment
* Understanding of recovery-oriented support and trauma-informed care principles
* Excellent written and oral communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills
