Join to apply for the Staff Specialist in Paediatrics, Manning Base Hospital role at Hunter New England Local Health District.

We are seeking applications from Paediatricians to join the collaborative and well-established team at Manning Base Hospital for a fixed term 6-month appointment. Temporary part-time (0.5 FTE) appointment (6 months). Advertising closes 21 September 2025.

Responsibilities

- Provide paediatric medical care as part of Manning Base Hospital Paediatrics team.
- Take on leadership roles and contribute to teaching/mentoring future paediatricians.
- Collaborate with outreach services to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.
- Engage with links to major children’s hospitals for patient care and learning.

Qualifications

- Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (Paediatrics) and specialist registration with AHPRA (candidates currently undertaking a Fellowship may apply).
