Chez Nous Catering is seeking an experienced and confident Catering & Events Supervisor to join our well-respected and growing events team. This role includes supervising events both off-site and on-site at our flagship venue, The Joinery.
This is a casual position offering flexible hours, with a mix of weekday and weekend shifts.
About the Role:
This is a hands‐on leadership position for someone who thrives in fast-paced event environments and takes pride in delivering seamless, polished service.
You will be responsible for:
* Supervising Chez Nous Catering events on the floor, both off-site and at The Joinery West End
* Ensuring smooth service delivery and consistently high standards
* Overseeing event set‐ups and pack‐downs
* Staff allocation, planning and rostering
* Coordinating team briefings and leading service delivery
* Acting as the key point of contact during events
* Maintaining strong communication between kitchen, front of house, venue teams and clients
About You:
* You are an experienced hospitality professional who:
* Has previous experience in catering or events supervision (essential)
* Demonstrates strong leadership and team management skills
* Works well within a team while also being highly autonomous
* Is organised, proactive and calm under pressure
* Has excellent communication and problem‐solving skills
* Is available for a mix of weekday and weekend shifts
