Provide logistics support to warehouses and transport and undertake analysis and reporting of warehouse and operations performance.
Target is to provide excellent service to customers and support reduction of cost to operate warehouse and treansport functions.
**Logistics Analyst**:
**Responsibilities**:
- Key Responsibilities
- Schedule inbound container deliveries for key warehouses to minimise demurrage charges
- Provide stock adjustment and stock movement support for warehouses w/o Shipping Coordinator
- Provide support for transport issues with carriers
- Analysis of warehouse and logistics performance and costs in order to determine efficiency of operations and most costs effective shipping
- Measure on-time delivery across network and recommend interventions as required to optimise
- TMS champion to provide best value for business
- Additional Responsibilities
- Maintain matrix of transport and 3PL rates across network
- Maintain weekly/Fortnightly catch-up meetings will all 3PL's
- Review and analyse logistics invoices to ensure correct
- Participate in projects and reviews relating to warehouse and transport
- Help provide reporting to analyse warehouse and shipping costs to achieve efficiency
- POD's and tracking details where required
- Provide SAP support
**Qualifications**:
- Logistics / Business Degree preferred
- Experience managing transport of goods
- Logistics assignments in a >$5m FMCG environment
- Having worked in a systems/process driven environment
- SAP knowledge
- Proficiency in MS Products
