We are currently seeking an experienced Finance Administrator to support a high-profile project on a 6-month fixed-term contract, based in Newcastle, with an immediate start.
About The Role
As Finance Administrator, you will play a key role in supporting the finance and project teams with day-to-day financial operations. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is available to hit the ground running.
Key Responsibilities
* Processing and reconciling invoices, purchase orders, and expenses
* Assisting with budget tracking and cost control
* Supporting month-end financial reporting and project cost reviews
* Liaising with internal teams and suppliers on finance queries
* Maintaining accurate financial records in line with company policie
About You:
* Previous experience in finance administration or accounts roles within similar construction industries.
* Proficiency of JD Edwards is highly regarded
* Hold relevant tertiary qualifications in finance, accounting, or a related field
* Proficiency in MS Excel and financial systems
* Excellent communication skills with a proactive, team-oriented approach
