Counselling Role Opportunity
This position is part of a collaborative effort to provide high-quality clinical services in Brisbane. The Counsellor will work with clients, delivering evidence-based individual, couple and family counselling.
The successful candidate will play a key role in the development and delivery of group programs, maintaining accurate and comprehensive clinical records. They will also liaise with government departments, community health agencies, and other service providers.
To be eligible for this role, candidates must have qualifications as a Registered Psychologist, Mental Health Occupational Therapist or Mental Health Registered Nurse with full AHPRA Registration, OR:
Qualifications as a Social Worker, with AASW Registration (or eligibility), WWCC / Vulnerable People Clearance, and Australian Citizenship.
This is a 37.5 hour per week, Monday to Friday role, with an initial contract term of 12 months and possible extension thereafter. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, allowing them to effectively engage with clients and stakeholders.
