Position Overview
The Energy & Resources (E&R) Program delivers impact and value to improve the safety, reliability, resilience and productivity of the energy, resources and telecommunications sectors in Australia and the Asia-Pacific Region.
The Customer Officer, under the direction of the Customer Leads and Sector Leads, manages interactions with energy, resources and telecommunications customers. In partnership with other E&R team members and collaborating with a broad range of Bureau teams, the Customer Officer manages an assigned portfolio of enquiries and opportunities and supports the maintenance of products and delivery of projects.
The successful candidate will have experience in customer engagement, with a strong track record of nurturing customer relationships and delivering an outstanding experience for customers. An understanding of science and technology, operational forecasting and the Bureau's products and services is essential to succeed in this role. Experience in the energy, resources or telecommunications sector will be advantageous.
This position would suit an applicant with excellent communication skills who thrives in a team environment and can manage complex and dynamic external and internal engagements.
