Digital Marketing Officer (Part-Time, 20 hours per week) – Arthritis & Osteoporosis WA (AOWA). School hours friendly and flexible days. AOWA is a not-for-profit in WA dedicated to improving the lives of people with musculoskeletal conditions, offering exercise programs, self-management courses and support groups to empower people to manage their condition and maintain an active, healthy lifestyle.
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Digital Marketing Officer to join our Marketing Communications team. This part-time role (20 hours per week) offers flexible days and/or school-hours friendly arrangements. You will work with the Manager Public Relations, Marketing & Communications to elevate our digital presence, coordinate multi-channel campaigns, and create engaging content that raises awareness, drives fundraising, and builds community engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage AOWA's social media platforms (Meta, Linked In, You Tube), including content posting, scheduling, paid campaigns, and performance monitoring
- Coordinate and deliver social media campaigns and content calendars
- Assist with website updates, including blogs, SEO, and SEM tasks
- Support multi-channel campaigns across email, social, and web
- Create compelling digital content (copy, graphics, video) to tell powerful stories
- Implement online fundraising campaigns and donor communications
- Report on campaign performance and digital engagement metrics
- Assist in planning and occasional delivery of PR and marketing events, including brand activations and media launches
About You
You bring at least 2 years' experience creating engaging social media content, compelling blogs, and storytelling that connects with people. You are driven by a passion for making a difference and thrive in a role where your creativity and ideas help deliver campaigns that truly impact the community.
Australian work rights are required for this position.
You’ll bring
- Tertiary qualification in Marketing, Communications, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- At least 2 years' experience in a similar marketing/communications role
- Demonstrated experience in digital marketing, social media, and email campaigns
- Excellent writing skills, with the ability to craft engaging and emotive content
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a small team
- Skills in graphic design, photography, and video editing
- Experience in the not-for-profit sector
- Familiarity with CRM platforms (Salesforce, Account Engagement – training provided)
- Experience with Hootsuite
- Experience with Google Ads, including Performance Max campaigns
