About The Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Health Data Manager to support the Maternity & Gynaecology Service, with a particular focus on gynaecological cancers and general gynaecology services. In this pivotal role, you will lead the strategic collection, management, analysis, and reporting of clinical and research data. Your work will directly inform clinical care, service planning, research, and quality improvement initiatives. You will play a key role in ensuring data integrity, completeness, and compliance with ethical and regulatory standards.
The Hunter New England Centre for Gynaecological Cancer is a collaborative initiative between John Hunter Hospital and Calvary Mater Hospital. We provide specialist, coordinated care for women with gynaecological cancers through a multidisciplinary approach to investigation and treatment.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage and maintain high-quality clinical and research datasets
* Ensure compliance with all data governance, ethical, and regulatory requirements
* Support clinicians and researchers with accurate data for analysis and reporting
* Contribute to quality improvement and service development initiatives
* Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to optimise patient care and outcomes
