**About the role**
**Key responsibilities**
- Develop and maintain staffing rosters in accordance with the needs of Children and Young People, funding allocations, budget, employee conditions and award requirements.
- Communicate and coordinate with stakeholders as required in response to workforce/roster changes, roster concerns and complaints
- Manage employee availability and leave calendars in consultation with leaders
- Escalate rostering and staff skill gaps, and work with line managers to identify solutions
- Where required, provide administration support to best meet customer requirements and to promote a sustainable workforce
**Skills & Experience**
- Prior experience within high volume rostering, scheduling and/or workforce planning role
- Previous experience in the utilisation of rostering software systems (MS Teams rostering experience if preferred)
- Demonstrated understanding of the SCHADS award, HSE and workforce management principles
- Demonstrate experience managing competing priorities to deliver outcomes within required timeframes
- Highly developed interpersonal, communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work cohesively within a team environment and with autonomy
