Quality Assurance Specialist Role
About the Position:
O2F is seeking an Automation Test Engineer to join our team in Ballarat Central, Victoria on a full-time basis.
Key Responsibilities:
* Design, develop, and maintain test automation frameworks using industry-standard tools.
* Carry out end-to-end, integration, and regression testing across web and API platforms.
* Implement CI/CD pipelines to automate regression testing and continuously monitor execution status.
* Analyse test reports, identify the root causes of failures or defects and drive corrective actions that improve overall system stability.
* Migrate and modernise frameworks to significantly improve scalability and performance.
* Collaborate with Business Analysts, Product Owners, and Developers, to clarify requirements and resolve defects.
* Mentor junior team members, fostering skill development and knowledge sharing.
Requirements:
A relevant Bachelor's degree or higher qualification.
Minimum of 3-years work experience in automation testing.
Demonstrated ability to work well in a team.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, and C#.
Familiarity with frameworks like Selenium, WebDriverIO, Karate, MS Test, xUnit, TestNG, JUnit, Maven, and Cucumber (BDD).
Experience with tools like Jenkins, Azure DevOps, Postman, Splunk, Oracle SQL Developer, MongoDB, Rally, Xray, and HP Quality Center.
Knowledge of Agile methodologies, Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD), Functional Testing (Web & API), and Cloud technologies (AWS, Azure).
