What's the role?
As a Learning Experience Design Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping how our people learn, grow and perform. This specialist position focuses on designing and developing high‐quality, human‐centred digital learning experiences that genuinely lift capability and support performance across the organisation.
Drawing on your expertise across instructional design, digital and multimedia design, UX thinking and AI‐enabled workflows, you'll create engaging, innovative learning solutions that are intuitive, accessible and fit for purpose. You'll bring a strong eye for digital craft and user experience, ensuring learning assets are technically sound, visually engaging and a pleasure to use.
You'll take end‐to‐end ownership of solution feasibility, accessibility and design quality, ensuring all learning experiences meet enterprise standards and technical requirements—while always keeping the learner front of mind. You'll also play a broader role in uplifting capability across the learning practice by:
* Coaching and uplifting learning designers, modelling best‐practice learning design and providing clear, actionable feedback
* Setting, governing and continuously improving learning design standards across the organisation to ensure consistent, user‐centred and accessible learning experiences.
What do I need?
You're an experienced learning leader who combines strong instructional design capability with digital creativity and UX thinking. You enjoy experimenting with new technologies (including AI), thrive in complex environments, and care deeply about creating accessible, high‐quality learning experiences that truly work for learners.
* Significant experience in L&D or organisational development within large, complex organisations
* Proven ability to engage, influence and challenge senior leaders and executives
* Experience operating at a senior level and leading through influence and governance
* Strong capability in modern digital learning tools
* Confidence using AI‐enabled tools to support content creation, optimisation and quality.
