Automotive Spray Painter – Vehicle Painter
Job brief: Permanent full-time position.
* Working hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM.
* Annual base salary: $80,000–90,000 per year + superannuation.
* Location: 22 Kamholtz Ct, Molendinar, QLD 4214, close to public transport.
Responsibilities
* Mixing and matching of colours.
* Prepping and sanding.
* Removing dents and experience working with smash repair.
* Finishing/priming coats.
* Being on top of paint ordering and restocking.
* Painting/spray painting automotive vehicles/panels on all makes and models of vehicles.
* Maintaining records, including checking accounts and invoices.
* Training train staff, focusing on safety and quality of the job.
* Any ad hoc duties required by leadership.
Skills Required
* Relevant previous working experience of at least 3 years.
* Ability to work independently or unsupervised as well as in a team environment.
* Excellent attention to detail and takes pride in craftsmanship.
* Strongly motivated, punctual and highly reliable with a positive attitude towards work.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Experience in the collision repair industry.
* Current and valid driver's licence.
* A Certificate or equivalent educational qualification is desirable.
