Key Responsibilities

* Develop innovative recruitment strategies, identifying future hiring needs in collaboration with key stakeholders.
* Manage the entire recruitment lifecycle with finesse, including creating compelling job requisitions, expert sourcing, insightful screening, and conducting engaging interviews.
* Ensure a positive experience for all candidates by conducting timely screenings, coordinating medical examinations, and managing drug and alcohol screenings.
* Conduct thorough reference checks and meticulously prepare employment contracts, ensuring adherence to relevant legislation.
* Oversee the onboarding process for new employees, ensuring they feel welcomed, supported, and integrated into the team.
* Leverage proficiency in HR systems, specifically talent acquisition software, for every stage of recruitment.
* Strategically fill workforce gaps and help shape the employer brand by participating in career events.


Requirements

* Bring exposure to high-volume recruitment, labour legislation, and negotiation skills.
* Understand workplace health and safety regulations and determine fitness for work.
* Proficient in using HR software, with a particular strength in talent acquisition tools.
* Exceptional organisational skills, allowing seamless management of multiple tasks and staffing needs.
* Keen eye for detail, excelling at screening applicants to match company requirements.
* Strong leadership potential, capable of directing the affairs of the recruitment department.
* Broad understanding of HR functions, coupled with knowledge of policies, procedures, and best practices.
* Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, approaching challenges with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
