Job Summary
This position is ideal for a motivated and detail-oriented individual who is eager to start their career in surveying. You will join our team in the Engineering and Maintenance division, working on field-based projects across the Sydney network.
Key Responsibilities:
* Capture accurate survey data using specialized equipment
* Assist in preparing sketches, drawings, and reports
* Develop skills in survey calculation software and CAD packages
You will have exposure to various railway specific surveying projects and learn on-the-job from experienced surveyors.
Work Environment:
* Auburn-based role covering the Sydney metro area, supporting the Central team
* Hornsby-based role covering the North region from North Strathfield to Newcastle and Waverton to Hornsby
Requirements:
* Tertiary qualifications such as Certificate, Diploma, or Degree in Surveying or equivalent
* Ability to develop skills in field surveying, survey data reduction, and technical knowledge
* Strong teamwork and problem-solving skills
