Project Engineer
This role offers the opportunity to work on a long-term project in Canberra, delivering successful construction outcomes.
* Develop and manage medium and short-range construction programs.
* Design management and coordination.
* Client management and liaison.
* Procurement of tender packages and preparation of subcontract agreements.
* Review and sign-off of subcontractor claims and variations.
* Preparation of cost forecasts and manage cost controls/reporting for designated work areas.
* Implementation of project EHS and quality plans and project management plan requirements.
Key Requirements:
* Be an Australian Citizen at the time of application.
* Hold or be able to obtain a Government Security Clearance.
* Have 4-8 years' experience in the construction industry, preferably on large-scale building construction projects.
* Have previous on-site construction delivery experience, looking after major trade packages.
* Hold a Degree qualification in a relevant field of study (Engineering, Construction Management etc).
* Have clear and articulate communication skills coupled with an ability to manage stakeholders, both internally and externally.
