**MMG Rosebery**:
Rosebery is an underground polymetallic base metal mine located in the township of Rosebery in Tasmania, Australia and is 100% owned by MMG Limited.
With continuous production since 1936 Rosebery mine has current potential to extend life beyond 2028. This underground mine has continually attracted and produced world class professionals. With a strong community focus and core values including safety and integrity, we are proud of our role in community development and our economic contribution to the local Tasmanian industry.
The operation continues to deliver excellent operational performance and employs over 500 employees and contractors who reside in the local region.
**Supervisor - Site Projects**
We are currently seeking a dynamic and highly experienced Projects Supervisor for our Rosebery Mine in Tasmania. This role reports to the Projects Superintendent provides project management & supervision of projects as well as Development and preparation of the capital project plans through scoping, cost quoting/evaluation, scheduling, APF development, site co-ordination of resources, commissioning and final document handover.
This role will be based on a 9-day fortnight (4:3,5:2) DIDO residential roster.
**Qualifications**
- Tertiary qualification in a metallurgical, mineral processing or mechanical field and/or relevant technical and trade qualifications
- Desirable
- Driver's license for light vehicles (manual)
- Confined Space and Working at Heights
- Project Management Qualification - Desirable
- First aid certificate - Desirable
**Competencies**
- Demonstrate safety leadership in project implementation teams particularly non-MMG personnel.
- Demonstrable experience in delivery and management of projects
- Demonstrated experience in management of teams
- Experience working with multiple departments and stakeholders
**Responsibilities include**:
- Ensure completion of site project planning and reporting in a timely manner (Capex reports, SAP, PPM, etc)
- Develop and manage project schedules, preferably in MS Project
- Maintain appropriate records and project documentation suitable for handover to operations and maintenance. Ensure effective project management of allocated Rosebery projects.
