Job Overview:
We are seeking a seasoned expert to join our team as an Aboriginal Community Engagement Senior Advisor.
This 12-month fixed-term opportunity will see you travel throughout the state engaging with remote Aboriginal communities and key stakeholders, fostering positive relationships and advocating passionately on behalf of these communities.
The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in Aboriginal community engagement, stakeholder management, and project coordination. They will be able to develop and implement effective communication strategies, manage external partnerships, and travel to various locations within the state.
Key Responsibilities:
* Designing and delivering community engagement initiatives
* Negotiating and maintaining strong relationships with government agencies and Aboriginal communities
* Traveling to Corporation offices and areas within the State
Requirements:
* Proven track record in Aboriginal community engagement and stakeholder management
* Exceptional organizational and project management skills
