About The Role
We're seeking a high‐energy, results‐driven State Account Manager to accelerate our Foodservice presence across SA. This permanent, full‐time role reports to the Head of Field Sales and focuses on building new business and deepening engagement with end‐user customers across both our baking and grocery portfolios.
Covering the South‐West Adelaide region and supported by a dedicated Distributor Account Manager, you'll own a large and diverse customer base — pubs, clubs, hotels, QSRs, restaurants, cafés, aged care, healthcare and bakeries.
Using Salesforce as your sales engine, you'll generate demand, drive product trials, influence ranging, and champion our Foodservice solutions across the market.
This role is perfect for someone hungry to make an impact — you'll shape growth, launch NPD and capture incremental value for both Goodman Fielder and our customers.
Key Responsibilities
* Leverage push/pull Food Service sales strategies to create demand and drive penetration across end users and distributors
* Build strong, commercially focused relationships with key Foodservice customers and distributor partners
* Execute activation and promotional plans that unlock incremental ranging and drive sell through
* Maintain disciplined sales reporting and customer records through Salesforce
* Partner with Marketing, R&D and Operations to launch and scale NPD across the state
* Track performance metrics, manage the sales pipeline and proactively act on risks and opportunities to deliver the annual budget
* Analyze market and competitor activity to identify whitespace and accelerate new business opportunities
* Deliver cook ups and product demonstrations with distributor partners to strengthen advocacy
* Grow your territory through strategic cold calling, targeted lead generation and consistent follow up
About You
* 5 years' experience in Foodservice account management, sales or business development
* Proven ability to manage, influence and grow end user accounts
* Strong commercial instincts with negotiation and relationship building capabilities
* Culinary or chef background is advantageous, but not essential
* Strong understanding of the Foodservice and distributor landscape in South Australia
