**Primary Healthcare Professional in Remote Australia**
We are seeking a dedicated and adaptable Registered Nurse or Registered Midwife to join our team in South Australia. As a primary healthcare professional, you will be working in a remote area of the country, providing essential medical care to the Anangu people.
About the Role
* You will be responsible for collaborating with medical officers and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality primary healthcare services.
* Your key responsibilities will include treating acute illnesses and chronic medical conditions, managing computerized recalls, and conducting patient follow-up care.
* You will also be involved in child health monitoring and immunizations, administering adult and COVID-19 vaccinations, assessing and referring social welfare issues, and managing antenatal and postnatal care.
* Additionally, you will support job-specific education for training Anangu staff and perform day-to-day clinic administration tasks.
Qualifications and Experience
To be successful in this role, you will require:
* A Registered Nurse or Registered Midwife registration with the National Board of Nursing and Midwifery.
* No less than 3 years of post-graduation work experience, recent acute medical/A&E exposure.
* Demonstrated experience working in a clinical environment and hospital-based general nursing experience.
* Post-basic nursing qualifications in emergency care, advanced nursing, or rural/remote area nursing (desirable).
* Strong cultural awareness, respect, and advanced clinical skills.
We offer a salary package equivalent to $250,107 – $271,090 and the opportunity to work in a unique and challenging environment.
